TTMSTRCT — The Educational Trust That Manages Treneywann
Treneywann Institute of Hospital Administration is managed by TTMSTRCT, an educational trust of retired hospital administrators, doctors, academicians and hospital healthcare professionals — and taught by practitioners.
Quick answer: TTMSTRCT (Treneywann Technology and Management Studies Training Research Council Trust) is an educational trust of retired hospital administrators, doctors, academicians and hospital healthcare professionals. It manages Treneywann Institute of Hospital Administration at Vyttila, Kochi, and issues the TTMSTRCT Council Trust Diploma. Its members include B.V. Kumar, a retired hospital administrator with 35+ years across India and the GCC, and M. Ramachandran, former Director of the Kerala Media Academy.
Why a Trust of Practitioners Runs the Institute
Most training centres are run by business owners who hire trainers. Treneywann works the other way round: the people who govern the institute are people who have worked inside hospitals, taught professionally or led public institutions. Decisions about what to teach, how to assess it and which hospitals to place students with are made by people who know those hospitals from the inside.
The same principle runs through the classroom. Hospital administration is taught by a retired hospital administrator, the Nursing Administration course is taught with practising nursing superintendents, and communication and patient relations are taught by a former director of a state media academy. That is what "taught by practitioners" means here.
