The 6 Months Hospital Administration Course is built for people who already work or hold a qualification in healthcare — healthcare professionals, doctors, nurses and paramedical degree/diploma holders — and want to move into administration. It is an intensive programme that equips you with the operational skills, software proficiency and competencies needed for immediate employment in front office, billing, TPA desk, MRD and operations roles. If you are joining after Plus Two or straight after a degree, the 1-Year Course is your course.

But if your ambition is supervisory or managerial roles, or a GCC career, the 1-Year Course — our flagship — is honestly the better fit. It carries five certifications instead of three, adding AI in Healthcare Administration and the HLP — Healthcare Leadership Program, both available only on the 1-year plan, and its credential is issued as a PG Diploma (degree holders) or Advanced Diploma (Plus Two/SSLC entrants). A Typical Class Day at the Vyttila Campus

Each two-hour session splits roughly in half. The first hour is concept teaching from B.V. Kumar — not slides read aloud, but scenarios from 35+ years of running hospital departments: what happens when a cashless authorisation is rejected at 9 PM, how a billing dispute at discharge actually gets resolved, what an NABH assessor asks the front-office team. The second hour is at the Hinall HMS terminals, executing that day's topic on the live system — registering the patient, raising the bill, filing the record. You keep a practical logbook across all 48 modules, and it becomes the evidence behind your Hinall HMS Proficiency Certification.

Because slots are only two hours, most students pair the diploma with degree classes or a part-time job. The campus sits in Vyttila, Kochi — about 300 metres from Vyttila Metro Station and next to the Vyttila Mobility Hub, so students commute daily from Ernakulam, Aluva, Tripunithura, Kakkanad and even Kottayam and Thrissur by bus and metro.

In your final month, the placement cell moves you through a fixed sequence: CV preparation reviewed by faculty, at least two mock interviews modelled on real Kerala hospital HR rounds, and then interview scheduling with hiring hospitals.
