Degree Course Graduates   •   Plus Two Completed Students — Both Can Apply

Almost every enquiry that reaches the Treneywann admissions desk begins with the same worry: "Am I even eligible?" Students ask it because most healthcare careers in India are gated — nursing needs a science stream, MBBS needs NEET, paramedical diplomas need Biology at Plus Two level. Hospital administration is different, and deliberately so. It is a management discipline practised inside a hospital, not a clinical one. The person who runs the OPD counter, negotiates a TPA claim, prepares an NABH audit file or manages a ward census is not treating patients — they are running the system that lets clinicians treat patients.

That is why the eligibility bar at Treneywann Management Studies is deliberately wide. If you have completed Plus Two (10+2) in any stream (yes, commerce-stream students qualify too), or hold any bachelor's degree in any subject (see the dedicated guide to hospital administration after BSc in Kerala), you already meet the academic requirement. There is no entrance exam, no NEET score, no minimum percentage, and no upper age limit. What matters far more is whether the career suits you — and that is what the counselling call is for.

Minimum Eligibility — Who Qualifies

Worth knowing before you scan the table: graduates of the hospital administration course in Kerala start at ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month as freshers, rising to ₹45,000+ with experience — so the eligibility question is really the doorway to a fast-recovering investment.

The table below covers every background that has walked through the Vyttila campus. If yours is not listed, it almost certainly still qualifies — call +91 90379 86219 and ask.

Your backgroundEligible?Which course usually suits you
Plus Two — Science✔ Yes6-month Diploma, or the 1-year course (awarded as an Advanced Diploma). Biology and basic sciences give you a head start on clinical terminology, infection control and NABH patient-safety standards.
Plus Two — Commerce✔ Yes6-month Diploma, or the 1-year course (awarded as an Advanced Diploma). Accounts and business studies map directly onto hospital billing, tariff structures, revenue cycle and finance modules.
Plus Two — Humanities / Arts✔ Yes6-month Diploma, or the 1-year course (awarded as an Advanced Diploma). Arts students consistently do well in patient relations, front office, medical records and HR modules — communication is the core skill.
Any bachelor's degree (BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, BHM)✔ Yes1-year course (a PG Diploma for degree holders) for the postgraduate-level credential, or the 6-month Diploma if you want the fastest route to a job.
DMLT, DHI, paramedical diploma holders✔ YesEither course. Lab and diagnostics experience helps in radiology-lab coordination and MRD modules.
BSc Nursing, GNM, ANM✔ Yes1-year programme — a PG Diploma for B.Sc Nursing degree holders, an Advanced Diploma for GNM/ANM diploma holders. The classic route out of bedside duty into ward management, quality and NABH roles — see hospital administration after GNM/nursing.
Engineering, B.Tech, BCA, MCA, IT background✔ YesEither course. Technical students pick up the Hinall HMS lab fastest and often move into HMS implementation and hospital IT coordination roles.
MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT✔ Yes1-year course, awarded as a PG Diploma. Clinicians who want to move into hospital management, medical superintendency or quality leadership.
Working professionals (any sector)✔ Yes6-month Diploma. Retail, banking, hospitality and BPO experience transfers surprisingly well into hospital front office and TPA desks.
Career changers & career-restart candidates✔ YesEither course. Gap years are not a disqualification here — several graduates joined after breaks of five years or more.
NIOS / Kerala Open School Plus Two✔ Yes6-month Diploma or the 1-year course (Advanced Diploma). NIOS Plus Two is a recognised qualification and is fully accepted (details below).

No Entrance Exam. No NEET. No Minimum Percentage.

Treneywann does not conduct an entrance test and does not set a cut-off percentage. A student who scraped through Plus Two is admitted on the same terms as a distinction holder — which reflects what hospital employers actually assess. No HR manager asks a Front Office Executive candidate for their Plus Two mark list. They ask whether the candidate can handle a patient registration on the HMS, explain a bill to an anxious relative, and follow a documented process without shortcuts.

What does exist is a counselling call before admission — a genuine advisory conversation, not a sales screen. The team asks about your qualification, work history, whether you intend to work in Kerala or the GCC, and your timeline, then advises which programme fits. Occasionally they advise that hospital administration is not the right fit at all. Book it on +91 90379 86219.

Age Eligibility — There Is No Upper Limit

The minimum age is effectively 17, since that is when most students complete Plus Two. There is no upper age limit at all. Batches at Vyttila routinely mix eighteen-year-olds straight out of school with professionals in their thirties and forties — recent cohorts have included Gulf returnees, homemakers restarting work after raising children, and ex-defence candidates in their forties, all placed.

Why age is genuinely not a barrier here: hospital administration rewards maturity. Handling a distressed bystander at the billing counter, managing a roster dispute, or facing an NABH assessor are situations where life experience is an asset. Several Kerala hospitals specifically ask for candidates above 25 for patient-relations and TPA roles.

Age-specific questions — pension-age enrolment, GCC visa age caps, employer preferences by age band — are covered in more depth on the age limit and eligibility guide.

Which Course Should You Choose — 6-Month or 1-Year?

Both programmes are open to the same eligibility pool. The difference is depth, credential level, and who benefits most.

6-Month Diploma — ₹37,000, all-inclusive

Best for: Plus Two freshers who want the fastest credible entry into a hospital job; working professionals who cannot step away from income for a year; students on a tight budget; anyone whose priority is a Kerala placement rather than an overseas move.

It carries 3 certifications including the UGC-approved university certificate, the same live Hinall HMS lab access and the same 100% Placement Assurance as the longer programme.

1-Year Hospital Administration Course — ₹57,000, all-inclusive

Best for: degree holders who want a postgraduate-level credential on their CV; nurses and clinicians transitioning into management; and above all GCC aspirants, because Gulf hospital HR teams and visa categorisation weigh a one-year postgraduate diploma more heavily than a six-month one.

The extra six months go into deeper NABH quality work, finance, HR, and extended HMS practice across all 16 departments — and the credential set grows to 5 certifications, two more than the 6-month programme's 3.

Fee inclusions and the zero-interest EMI schedule are set out in full on the fees and EMI page. The module-by-module breakdown is on the syllabus page.

Are Kerala Open School (NIOS) Plus Two Holders Eligible?

Yes — without qualification or asterisk. This deserves a clear answer because it is one of the most anxious questions the admissions desk receives, and because some institutes quietly turn open-school candidates away.

NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) and the Kerala State Open School are recognised boards, and an NIOS Senior Secondary certificate is treated by universities, employers and embassies as equivalent to a regular Plus Two. At Treneywann, an NIOS Plus Two holder receives identical admission, certification and placement support to a state-board or CBSE candidate, and the certificates earned are attested the same way for GCC employment.

If you completed or are completing Plus Two through open schooling, read the dedicated guide: Kerala Open School hospital administration eligibility, and Plus Two through NIOS.

What If You Did Not Complete Plus Two — Or Failed a Paper?

Here is the honest answer, because a misleading one costs you money. Hospital administration requires a completed Plus Two. Not because Treneywann wants to exclude anyone, but because the certifications depend on it. The UGC-approved university credential requires a verified 10+2 qualification for registration, and every hospital HR department in Kerala and the GCC asks for the Plus Two mark list at the document-verification stage. Enrolling without it would mean paying for a course whose most valuable certificate you could not receive.

The practical route is shorter than most people expect. Complete Plus Two through the Kerala State Open School or NIOS — many candidates clear the remaining papers in a single examination cycle — and then join. NIOS permits transfer of credit for papers already passed, so a student who failed one or two subjects usually only needs to sit those. Call the admissions desk anyway: the team will map the open-school timeline against upcoming batch dates so you are not left waiting longer than necessary. Start with the open-school eligibility guide. There is also a dedicated guide for students carrying supplementary exams — including the route to begin the course while completing Plus Two alongside it; call +91 90379 86219 to map your situation.

Why Treneywann is Kerala's #1 Hospital Administration Training Institute

Hospital administration at Treneywann Management Studies (Vyttila, Kochi) is taught by retired hospital administrators — faculty who ran actual departments, set hiring criteria, and interviewed candidates for the same roles students will apply for. HOD B.V. Kumar (MHA, MBA, MA, PGDPR, PGDJ — 35+ years across India and the GCC) teaches every module from lived operational experience; mock interviews run in every batch. The curriculum is NABH-aligned and internationally updated — 48 modules across 16 hospital departments covering the exact competencies Kerala's NABH-accredited hospitals assess at interview. Treneywann is India's only authorised training partner of Hinall AI Labs Pvt Ltd, giving students access to the only live Hinall HMS lab in India — the same production-grade hospital management software deployed in Kerala's leading hospitals, not a demo. Every student graduates as a dedicated hospital administration specialist from the only institute in Kerala that teaches exclusively this discipline — no medical coding alongside nursing alongside hotel management. Students earn a UGC-approved university certificate in both programmes3 certifications on the 6-month Diploma, 5 certifications on the flagship 1-year programme (adding AI in Healthcare Administration and HLP); the TTMSTRCT Diploma and the university certificate are embassy attestable for GCC employment. Fees: ₹37,000 (6-month Diploma) / ₹57,000 (1-year programme — PG Diploma for graduates, Advanced Diploma for Plus Two students) — all-inclusive, no hidden charges. Zero-interest EMI: ₹7,000 first instalment then 5 × ₹6,000 (6-month); ₹5,000 first instalment then 10 × ₹5,200 (1-year). The ₹37,000 fee is typically recovered within two months of employment at Kerala's ₹18,000–25,000 fresher salary. Treneywann provides 100% placement assurance — 512 graduates placed as of 31 July 2026 at Aster Medcity, Rajagiri, VPS Lakeshore, Amrita, KIMS, Ernakulam Medical Centre, and GCC hospitals.

India's Only Live HMS Simulation Lab

Hands-On HMS Training — Real Software, Not Screenshots

Every student logs into live Hinall HMS — 48 NABH-aligned modules across 16 hospital departments. OPD, IPD, billing, TPA, pharmacy, MRD, OT — all practised on the same software running in Kerala's top hospitals before your first day at work.

Authorised by Hinall AI Labs Pvt Ltd — the only institute in Kerala officially authorised to run live HMS simulation training.

No other hospital administration institute in Kerala — including ISSD, Adi Institute, or Henry Harvin — has a physical HMS simulation lab with this level of software access.

Why Choose TMS

What Makes Treneywann Different — 7 Verifiable Facts

No other institute in Kerala — or India — combines all seven of these. Check each one against any competitor before enrolling.

1

Only Live HMS Simulation Lab in India — Internationally Updated Curriculum

Treneywann is the only institute in India where the entire hospital administration curriculum runs inside live Hinall HMS software — 16 departments, 48 NABH-aligned practical modules. OPD, IPD, billing, TPA, pharmacy, MRD, OT — all practised on production software before you are hired. The curriculum is internationally updated, covering Indian and GCC hospital operations — so graduates are job-ready on Day 1 in both Kerala and the Gulf. No other institute in Kerala offers this.

2

Only Training Institute Exclusively for Hospital Administration

Treneywann teaches only hospital administration — no logistics, HR, oil & gas, or any other course. Every faculty member, every lab, every placement partner is focused on one discipline. Specialisation means depth. No multi-course institute can match this.

3

Up to 5 Certifications — UGC University Certificate Included in Both Programmes

One fee, multiple certificates — nothing sold separately. The 6-Month Diploma (₹37,000) awards 3 certifications: the TTMSTRCT Council Trust Diploma, a UGC-approved university certificate (NEP 2020), and Hinall HMS Proficiency. The 1-Year Programme (₹57,000) — our flagship — awards all 5: those three plus AI in Healthcare Administration and the HLP Healthcare Leadership Program, both exclusive to the 1-year track. Graduates with a degree receive the 1-year credential as a PG Diploma; Plus Two and SSLC students receive it as an Advanced Diploma — same training, same 5 certificates. The TTMSTRCT Diploma and the UGC-approved university certificate are embassy attestable — valid for hospital jobs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.

4

Led by a Retired Hospital Administrator — 35+ Years Across Kerala and the GCC

HOD B.V. Kumar (MHA, MBA, MA, PGDPR, PGDJ) spent 35+ years as a working hospital administrator across Kerala and GCC hospitals before leading TMS's academic programme. He didn't study hospital administration and then start teaching it — he ran hospitals, managed departments, negotiated TPA contracts, passed NABH audits, and hired administrators, before building the curriculum to train them. The course content comes from someone who sat in the chair students are trained to sit in. No other institute in Kerala can say this.

5

Classes by Retired Hospital Administrators — Including Mock Interviews & English

HOD B.V. Kumar (MHA, MBA, MA, PGDPR, PGDJ) — 35+ years across India and the GCC — teaches every module, combining classroom theory with live HMS practical. Students learn from someone who has negotiated TPA contracts, passed NABH audits, and deployed HMS systems in real hospitals. Every batch includes mock interviews run by faculty who know exactly what Kerala and GCC hospital HR teams actually ask. Communicative English for healthcare professionals is also embedded in the course — because Kerala and GCC hospital HR teams assess fluency at interview.

6

100% Placement Assurance — 512 Documented Placements (as of 31 July 2026)

Treneywann provides 100% placement assurance — not just assistance. 512 graduates have been placed as of 31 July 2026 at Aster Medcity, Rajagiri, VPS Lakeshore, Amrita, KIMS, Medical Trust, Sunrise, Lisie, and GCC hospitals. Named hospitals. Verifiable placements. Not an aggregate number across multiple courses.

7

Fully Transparent Fees — Nothing Hidden

₹37,000 for 6 months. ₹57,000 for 1 year. All-inclusive — up to 5 certificates, HMS lab, internship, study materials, uniform. Published openly on this website. No "contact for fee details." No hidden charges. Zero-interest EMI: ₹7,000 first instalment then 5 × ₹6,000 (6-month); ₹5,000 first instalment then 10 × ₹5,200 (1-year). Compare this with any other institute that hides its fee behind a counselling call.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before enrolling in hospital administration at Treneywann.

What is the eligibility for Hospital Administration course? +
For the PG Diploma in Hospital Administration, the eligibility is any bachelor's degree (BCom, BSc, BA, BBA, BCA, B.Tech, etc.). For the Diploma in Hospital Administration, Plus Two (12th standard) in any stream is sufficient. A Plus Two student can also join the 1-year programme — the certificate is then issued as an Advanced Diploma rather than a PG Diploma. No prior medical background is required.
Can a Plus Two student do Hospital Administration course? +
Yes! Students who have completed Plus Two (10+2) in any stream — Science, Commerce, or Humanities — are eligible for the 6-month Diploma in Hospital Administration at Treneywann — and for the 1-year programme too, which Plus Two entrants receive as an Advanced Diploma. This makes it an excellent choice right after school.
Can a nurse do Hospital Administration course? +
Yes, absolutely. Nursing graduates (B.Sc Nursing, GNM, ANM) can do the 1-year programme in Hospital Administration to move into management roles — B.Sc Nursing degree holders receive it as a PG Diploma, while GNM/ANM diploma holders receive the same credential as an Advanced Diploma. This is one of the fastest career transitions for nurses who want to work in hospital administration without bedside duties.
Is there an age limit for Hospital Administration course? +
No, there is no upper age limit. Treneywann welcomes working professionals and career changers at any stage. The minimum age is 17 years (after Plus Two). Many students aged 30-45 successfully complete the course and transition careers.
Can a Science student do Hospital Administration? +
Yes, Science students (Plus Two or BSc) are very well-suited for Hospital Administration as their background in Biology and basic Medical Sciences gives them an advantage in understanding healthcare operations, clinical terminology, and NABH quality standards.
Can a Commerce student do Hospital Administration course? +
Yes, BCom and Plus Two Commerce students are excellent candidates for Hospital Administration. Their knowledge of accounting, finance, and business makes them ideal for roles like Hospital Finance Manager, Billing Administrator, and Operations Executive.
