Treneywann Management Studies (TMS) is an educational institution based in Vyttila, Kochi, Kerala, India, specialising exclusively in hospital administration training. The founding philosophy of Treneywann Management Studies is that hospital administration is a discipline that requires deep, specialist training — not a module inside a general healthcare or management course. NABH-accredited hospitals in Kerala — the state with India's highest density of NABH accreditation — require administrators who can operate HMS software independently, manage NABH documentation across all chapters, coordinate TPA billing, and step into operational roles from Day 1.

Our Legacy
Where It Began: A Classroom in 1991
Treneywann Management Studies (TMS) was founded in Kochi in 2020 by K. Prabhikrishnan. But the teaching philosophy at the heart of our hospital administration training institute began nearly three decades earlier.
In the early 1991s, B.V. Kumar — MHA, MBA, MA, PGDPR, PGDJ — was an active hospital administrator who regularly stepped out of the hospital and into college classrooms as a special guest lecturer, teaching hospital administration to students long before it became a mainstream career path in Kerala. The photograph above, taken in 1991, captures one of those lectures.
That belief — that hospital administration should be taught by people who actually run hospitals — is what practitioner-led training means at TMS. Now retired from hospital service after 35+ years across India and the GCC (UAE and Saudi Arabia), B.V. Kumar leads our academic team full-time as Head of Management Studies, bringing that lived practitioner knowledge directly to every batch of our hospital administration course in Kerala.
Today, that legacy shows in outcomes: 512 graduates placed at hospitals including Aster, Rajagiri and KIMS, hands-on learning in India's only live Hinall HMS software lab, and 100% Placement Assurance for our students in Kerala. Our company began in 2020 — but our classroom journey began in 1991.
