Edappally is also spelled Edapally — both spellings refer to the same Kochi suburb, and this page covers students searching either way.
Why Students from Edappally Choose Treneywann at Vyttila
A note on the name: the suburb is written Edappally with a double 'p' on most maps, metro signage and hospital addresses, and Edapally with a single 'p' almost as often — including in the address of this page. They are the same place. Whichever spelling you searched for, this is the right page, and the same applies to Edapally / Edappally hospital administration course, hospital administration course near Edappally and HA course Edapally Kochi.
Edappally students have an advantage almost no other part of Kochi has: they already live inside the hospital economy. Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences at Ponekkara is minutes from Edappally Junction, Lisie is a short run down towards Ernakulam North, and Aster Medcity at Cheranalloor is barely six kilometres up the road. If you grew up around Edapally you have seen those hospital campuses every day of your life — this course is about walking into one of them as staff.
Hospital administration is the non-clinical management side of that world: patient registration, OP and IP flow, billing, TPA and insurance coordination, medical records, pharmacy and stores, HR, and NABH quality compliance. There is no MBBS requirement and no entrance exam. Plus Two in any stream or any degree is enough, which is why our Edappally batches mix commerce graduates, BSc holders, allied-health diploma holders and IT staff from the Palarivattom–Kakkanad corridor.
Treneywann Management Studies is a hospital administration training institute at Vyttila, roughly 8 km south of Edappally — and crucially, it is a straight line on the Kochi Metro with nothing to change and no traffic to negotiate. Edappally is one of nineteen towns covered in our Ernakulam district guide; for the campus city itself see the hospital administration course in Kochi.
How to Reach the Vyttila Campus from Edapally
This is the easiest commute of any Kochi suburb, and it is the reason Edapally is one of our largest catchment areas.
Edapally Station → Vyttila Station on the main Aluva–Petta line. Direct, no interchange, about 15–20 minutes, fare roughly ₹20–₹40 depending on your Kochi1 card. Vyttila Metro exit to Creative Tower is a 4-minute walk. Trains run every few minutes through the morning peak.
Private buses run Edapally → Palarivattom → Vyttila continuously along the bypass. Fare ₹15–₹25, journey 20–30 minutes off-peak and longer when the Edapally toll junction backs up. Buses set you down at Vyttila Hub itself.
Straight down the Edapally–Vyttila bypass: about 15 minutes clear, ₹180–₹250 by auto. On a two-wheeler most students do it in 15–18 minutes. Parking is available around Vyttila.
Practical note: because the metro is unaffected by the NH 544 and NH 66 traffic that snarls Edapally Junction every morning, metro students arrive on time on days when road commuters do not. If you live near Changampuzha Park, Pathadipalam or Ponekkara, you are within walking or short-auto distance of a station, which makes the whole thing effortless.
Hospitals in and Around Edapally Where Treneywann Graduates Work
Edapally sits at the centre of the densest hospital cluster in Kerala. Amrita alone is one of the largest single employers of administrative staff in the state, and there are five more major hospitals within a ten-kilometre radius of Edapally Junction.
| Hospital | Location | From Edapally | Typical Roles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) | Ponekkara, Edapally | In town | MRD, billing, insurance desk, OP coordination |
| Aster Medcity | Cheranalloor | ~6 km | All admin streams — major employer |
| Lisie Hospital | Ernakulam North | ~5 km | Front office, billing, patient relations |
| Rajagiri Hospital | Aluva | ~14 km | Operations, NABH quality, front office |
| Medical Trust & KIMS | Ernakulam city | ~7 km | Billing, MRD, administration |
| VPS Lakeshore | Maradu | ~12 km | TPA, admissions, front office |
All of them run hospital management software for registration, billing, insurance and records — and all of them prefer a candidate who has already used one. That is precisely what the Vyttila lab gives you.
Why the Vyttila Campus Is Worth the Metro Ride
Treneywann runs the only live Hinall HMS lab in India — real, production-grade hospital management software, with 48 practical modules spanning 16 hospital departments. Students register patients, raise bills, process TPA pre-authorisations, issue pharmacy indents and close medical records on the same class of system Amrita, Aster and Lisie use every day. It cannot be simulated at home; you attend at Vyttila, at a terminal, in person.
Second, the teaching. Classes are taken by retired hospital administrators, led by HOD B.V. Kumar (MHA, MBA, MA, PGDPR, PGDJ) with 35+ years across Indian and GCC hospitals. He has negotiated TPA contracts, cleared NABH audits and interviewed candidates for the very roles you are aiming at — and that 35-year network is why placement conversations start before the course ends. Every batch includes mock interviews built from questions Kerala hospital HR panels actually ask.
Third, 100% Placement Assurance — not assistance. 512 graduates placed as of 31 July 2026 across Aster Medcity, Rajagiri, VPS Lakeshore, Amrita, KIMS, Medical Trust, Sunrise, Lisie and GCC hospitals. See the placement record and the Hinall HMS lab detail.

Students from Edapally in Our Batches
Edapally is one of the areas we hear from most, and the mix in any given batch reflects that. There are graduates from the Amrita campuses at Ponekkara and from colleges across Ernakulam; nursing, pharmacy and DMLT holders who decided the clinical roster was not the life they wanted; commerce graduates from Elamakkara and Kaloor who like the billing, insurance and revenue-cycle side of the work; and IT staff from the Palarivattom corridor making a deliberate exit from night shifts.
Because so many of them use the same train, an Edapally travel group forms almost automatically — same platform, same carriage, same 8:30 AM. They revise together on the way in, and once they are placed they pass openings back to the batch behind them. If you enrol from Edapally you are joining a group that is already running.
